Assessment Services

Our statewide team helps assess the unique educational needs of students who are deaf and hard of hearing through a variety of services, which may include:

• Development of a student-centered long-range plan including strategies for formative and summative assessment
• Evaluation of listening, spoken language, communication (including American Sign Language), literacy, academics, social-emotional development, self-advocacy, and transition skills
• Recommendation of program design based on assessment results
• IEP/504 development and transition support
• Monitoring of student academic and social progress
