We strive to be a statewide leader in arts education and are rated an advanced school by the SC Arts in the Basic Curriculum Project. We offer a comprehensive program with arts classes during the school day and the after-school enrichment program.

We also integrate art into academic classes. Students participate in hands-on activities while learning core subjects such as English, math, and science. Research has shown that students who are taught with arts integration are more motivated to learn, retain material better, and score higher on standardized tests.
 

Fine arts programs include:

Visual Arts
drawing, painting, studio art, print making, 2D design, 3D design, photography

Music
performance choir, music history,  instrumental music, keyboard, guitar, steel drums

Dance
hip-hop, jazz, ballet, yoga, and tap are offered with the assistance of a local dance company

Drama
opportunity to participate in a yearly theater production
