Read to Succeed Initiative

We believe that reading skills are vital to academic achievement, good jobs, and quality of life. We encourage students to read every day in every way -- from books to internet sites to recipes to food labels.

Festivals, book fairs, and reading parties are all part of our Read to Succeed initiative. We want to help students see how much fun reading can be and, ultimately, to make it an ongoing part of their lives.

Teachers provide braille instruction and assistance with reading technology. They are supported by full-time braille and literacy coaches as well as technology coaches.
