Football
The varsity football team competes with area private and public schools as well as other schools for the deaf. The team plays eight-man football, which is very similar to the traditional 11-man game.
The hornets football team is a member of the SC High School League Class Region 1A. Eligibility is based on academic standing and physical evaluation according to the bylaws of the SC High School League.
