The Kelly's Kids Program is a partnership between the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind and Spartanburg County First Steps Early Head Start. The Kelly's Kids Center is named in memory of Marcia Hastay Kelly who dedicated her career to the education of children with disabilities.
Kelly's Kids is licensed by the SC Department of Social Services. In the fall of 2014, Kelly's Kids was named an A+ center with Advocates for Better Childcare, their highest rating. Kelly's Kids also maintains the highest rating, 5-Star, with Quality Counts of Spartanburg.
The staff in the Kelly's Kids Program hold a wide range of credentials that include infant/toddler education, early childhood education, deaf education, and social work. All staff members are certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid, and receive ongoing professional training.
