    Transition to College and Careers

We are committed to developing a transition plan for every student – whether the student plans to obtain additional education or begin a career after graduation.

Career counseling is provided through a transition specialist and career development facilitator. Statewide partnerships with key state agencies provide on-the-job experiences locally and in students’ home communities. These agencies also assist graduates with transition into the work world.

Partnerships with the following state agencies, as well as multiple businesses, are in place to assist our students and graduates:

    •  SC Commission for the Blind

    •  SC Department of Vocational Rehabilitation

    •  SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs
