Residential students compete in friendly dorm wars every year as part of their after-school activities.
Day and Residential Programs
We offer both day and residential programs.
Day Students
Students who live in Spartanburg and the surrounding counties enroll as day students. Bus transportation and meals are provided at no charge.
Residential Students
Students who live beyond Spartanburg and the surrounding counties may reside on campus Sunday evenings through mid-day on Fridays during the school year. Housing, meals, and bus transportation are provided at no charge. Bed linens and towels are furnished, and students bring their own clothing and personal items including favorite games or toys, smart phones, and family photos.
To help with the transition to campus housing, new students are assigned a residence hall buddy. Parents are welcome to call or visit and are always encouraged to attend special events.
Residential staff members carefully monitor the students at all times and assist them as needed. Nurses and security officers are on duty 24 hours a day.

More About Transportation
Both day and residential students can take advantage of our local and statewide buses.
Buses are staffed by friendly drivers and attendants who are skilled in assisting and communicating with special needs students. Drivers are certified by the SC Department of Education, and both drivers and attendants are trained in CPR/First Aid.
Buses are equipped with:
- Wi-Fi for school-provided laptops and iPads
- DVD players
- Wheelchair lifts and assistive devices
- Air Conditioning
Day Student Transportation
Students who live in Spartanburg and the surrounding communities are eligible for daily transportation to and from the campus. Spartanburg County students are bused to and from their homes each day. In surrounding counties, parents wait with students at a designated location near their homes in the morning and pick up students at the same location in the afternoon.
Residential Student Transportation
Parents wait with residential students at a designated location near their homes on Sunday afternoons and pick up students at the same designated location on Friday afternoons. Residential students are provided a duffle bag to transport their clothes and personal items.
