Start planning now for a fun summer. It’s already time to register for summer camps at the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind.
Scheduled for June 23-29, the camps offer all participants a variety of independent living and confidence building activities as well as field trips, scuba diving, and horseback riding. Campers who are blind will participate in braille lessons, music, access technology activities, beeper ball, kickball, and sports. Campers who are deaf will enjoy sign language lessons, technology activities, and sports. Specialized activities will be included for cochlear implant users.
Registration and camp participation are free, but campers should bring $40 for field trips and incidental expenses. Free bus transportation is available to the camps.
