Congratulations to Christian Washington who was recently named Scout of the Month by the Palmetto Council of Boy Scouts of America. The Palmetto Council includes six counties: Cherokee, Chester, Lancaster, Spartanburg, Union, and York.
Christian is featured on the Palmetto Council website that credits him with asking questions, volunteering, and modeling good behavior. He has learned the Boy Scout Oath and Law in sign language and can best be described by the word "welcoming."
Christian is a new Scout to Pack 9539, one of 182 scouting units in the six-county area that comprises the Palmetto Council. Pack 9539 began six months ago and is comprised of SC School for the Deaf and the Blind students.
Please join us in congratulating Christian for his leadership and enthusiasm for scouting.
