SC Equipment Distribution Program (SCEDP)

The SC Equipment Distribution Program (SCEDP) serves South SCSDB Outreach Equip Dist

Carolina residents who have a hearing or speech challenge by providing free specialized phone equipment and alerting devices.

SCEDP serves individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, blind/low vision with hearing loss and speech impaired.

SCEDP products are funded by a surcharge on all South Carolina residential and business phone lines. The SC School for the Deaf and the Blind partners with the SC Office of Regulatory Staff to administer SCEDP.
