At the Cedar Springs Academy, miracles happen every day.

 

Our program serves South Carolina students ages 3  – 21 who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired in addition to having at least one other physical or mental disability. Our goal is to enable our students to be successful and to prepare for their future by setting high expectations for each child and by focusing on instruction in the areas of academic and daily living skills development.

 

Through our nationally-recognized Whole Child Initiative, we strive to promote the development of children who are well-prepared to be as independent as possible. Education and support professionals work to ensure that each child is:
  • Challenged academically and prepared for success
  • Engaged by staying connected to the school and broader community
  • Supported socially and emotionally by caring, qualified adults
  • Healthy by learning about and practicing a healthy lifestyle
  • Safe and secure by learning in a physically and emotionally safe environment.
