Where Imagination & Education Begin!

 

The Kelly’s Kids Child Development Center provides services for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years.
 
Located on the Spartanburg campus, the program provides quality, individualized care to eligible children who are deaf, blind, multi-sensory disabled and typically developing.  
 
 Goals
  • Enable children to reach their maximum potential in all areas
  • Provide a safe, encouraging learning environment
  • Give parents a successful education alternative for their child
  • Prepare children to enter SC School for the Deaf and the Blind campus programs or local school districts  
 Benefits
  • There is no cost to eligible families
  • Diapers, formula, snacks and meals are provided
  • There is a 1 to 4 teacher-child ratio
  • Mixed ages in each classroom allow for a family atmosphere
 
The Kelly’s Kids Program is a partnership between the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind and Spartanburg County First Steps Early Head Start. The program is dedicated to the success of infants, toddlers and their families in the Spartanburg community.
 
History
 
The Kelly’s Kids Program was established in 2007 as a partnership between the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind and Spartanburg County First Steps Early Head Start. The Kelly’s Kids Center is named in memory of Marcia Hastay Kelly who dedicated her career to the education of children with disabilities.
