SCSDB’s Division for the Multihandicapped has New Leadership
Maggie E. Park has been promoted to principal in the
school’s Division for the Multihandicapped.
Park replaces Craig Jacobs who was the principal for the past four years. Jacobs retired this summer after 29 years of
service to SCSDB.
Park was interim assistant principal in the Division for
the Deaf during the 2005-06 school year.
She joined SCSDB in 2000 as an elementary classroom teacher in the
Division for the Deaf and earned the status of national board certification in
2001. Prior to coming to SCSDB, Park was
a teacher and assistant program director for the

the Deaf and the Blind is a specialized instructional and resource center. It
provides services statewide for individuals who are deaf, blind or sensory
multidisabled, their families and the professionals who work with them. SCSDB
