We are pleased to learn of your interest in the adult Postsecondary Education Programs at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB) in Spartanburg.  Postsecondary education students may choose either the SCSDB Postsecondary Program  or the SCSDB Cooperative Program with Spartanburg Community College (SCC).

Housing

SCSDB in partnership with the Spartanburg Housing Authority offers postsecondary students independent living in Independence Place Apartments located immediately behind the SCSDB campus. 

Transportation

Transportation is provided daily between Independence Place Apartments and SCC for those students enrolled in the Cooperative Program.  Independence Place residents may also use the SCSDB statewide bus system as available for transportation between their homes and the school.
